A steel arc 250 m long, on a 41 m long deck of reinforced concrete: this is the new Marchetti highway bridge realized to secure the highway junction between Ivrea-Santhià A4/A5 and the Torino-Aosta Highway, where part of it was destroyed by a flood in 2000, erasing its track. The Marchetti highway bridge, designed for ATIVA by a team guided by Studio Seteco in Genova, leader in the large metal structures field, has engaged Studio AS in the project for the lateral barriers and the colours - to mitigate the environmental impact, collaborating with the National Trust and the other competent authorities.
